They plan meals according to clients' specifications, preferences, and dietary needs, shop for meal ingredients, and package meals accordingly. Private Chefs may also play a managerial role in the home in some instances, managing other staff members, housekeepers and so on.

A UHNW VVIP client in Dubai is seeking a Private Chef who specializes in Greek Cuisine to join their family and private compound. Fresh, healthy and Greek style cuisine is an absolute must. The family require confidence in the kitchen without any attitude. The family have many staff members (butlers, valets & housekeepers) and require the chef to be a team player. Only candidates currently in the UAE or GCC region will be considered. Having worked in a similar environment for more than 5 years is mandatory.

Chef will be required to create clean, tasty International dishes as well as Asian, Arabic dishes for family members according to their preferences. Healthy cooking experience would be a plus.
We can offer attractive salary, medical facility, yearly air ticket, etc. Candidate will have option to stay out in Dubai. In Oman they will be required to stay inside the villa in staff accommodation.
Candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing and developing recipes in accordance with the family and guests tastes, requests, nutritional needs, dietary restrictions, and product specifications.
Preparing meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations.
Conferring with client to determine their meal preferences, specifications, food allergies, and dietary restriction
Deep Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before and after meal preparation.
Key Requirements include:
Diploma in Culinary Arts.
HACCP food practices must.
Proven culinary experience.
Sound knowledge of different cuisines as well as food health and safety regulations
Additional Notes:
Good communication skills.
Must have excellent presentation and work to meticulous attention to detail and good work ethic.
Ability to multitask and use initiative.

The Principal and his family of 5 members (parents & 3 teenage children) reside in Houghton, Johannesburg and would like to invite candidates to apply for a Private Chef role within the private residence. The residence is managed by a Butler/House Manager, supported by three housekeepers and a gardener. The Private Chef will be scheduled to work in the private residence and corporate offices within walking distance. Breakfast & dinners are arranged & prepared at the residence whilst lunches are served to corporate guests and management at the offices.
