Unveiling the Elegance: The Rolls-Royce La Rose Noir Droptail

Welcome to the world of Rubert Rides, a division of Rubert International, where we bring you the epitome of luxury and sophistication.

The La Rose Noir Droptail is more than just a car; it's a bold, daring, and sophisticated personal expression inspired by the black Baccarat Rose. As a design team, we recognized the significance of creating the only modern interpretation of the roadster body style, and this vehicle allowed us to break free from convention and re-imagine Rolls-Royce design.

One of the most striking features of the La Rose Noir Droptail is the reinterpretation of the iconic Pantheon Grill. For the first time in the brand's history, the grill's veins are inclined at the top, creating a distinctive heavy-browed impression. The lower corners introduce a chamfer, adding a touch of functional aesthetics reminiscent of classic Roadster concepts.

We didn't stop at redefining the grill; we also introduced a unique finish named "Hydra Shade" across the exterior's metalwork. This technological finish sets the La Rose Noir Droptail apart, providing a seamless, modern look that resonates with the car's bold design.

The La Rose Noir Droptail's flanks exemplify the pursuit of reduction. Every surface has been meticulously pared back, leaving only what's necessary. This level of clarity can only be achieved through hand-built coachwork, a testament to Rolls-Royce's commitment to perfection.

Stepping inside the La Rose Noir Droptail, you immediately notice its unique stance and proportions. The short front overhang and rearward-inclined face create an atmosphere of intimacy and protection for the occupants—a characteristic of a true roadster.

The interior is a testament to innovative design gestures. The shawl element envelops the occupants, creating an intimate atmosphere. The elliptical center console plinth resembles architectural design, and the instrument panel reflects the materials and colors of La Rose Noir, including the incorporation of parquetry into the dials.

To fulfill the client's wishes, we collaborated with Audemars Piguet to integrate a high-complication timepiece into the fascia panel. What sets this timepiece apart is its wearability. Clients can remove it and stow it within the car, a unique feature that combines automotive and horological luxury.

The La Rose Noir Droptail's exterior seamlessly blends tried-and-tested parquetry techniques with modern design. The abstract depiction of rose petals, made up of 163 individual pieces, took three years to develop and produce. This theme extends to the AFT deck, where 96 rose petals adorn the exterior paint.

With the roof fitted, the La Rose Noir Droptail transforms from an open-top roadster into a formidable-looking coupe. Drawing inspiration from 1930s hot rods, this design feature accentuates the speed and length of the vehicle's lines.

The coupe's roof incorporates electrochromatic technology, allowing the client to switch from an opaque sunshade to complete translucency with the touch of a button. It offers a unique perspective of the world outside.

The Rolls-Royce La Rose Noir Droptail is more than a car; it's a statement of true connoisseurship. It encapsulates the personal passions and bold vision of its commissioning couple.
