A professional family of six, require the employment of a Governess for evening duties from 4pm till 9pm for the two youngest family members, a boy (6) and girl (8).  The position may be live-in or out.
Monday to Friday
16-00/21-00 + taking children to school
There may be the opportunity for regular babysitting duties in addition to the agreed number of hours, but this is paid on top of the nanny’s agreed salary

 

Main responsibilities:
Confer with parents to determine their specific requirements for childminding, based on each child’s specific needs.
Engage children in conversation to determine their specific likes and dislikes and gauge their individual personalities.
Organize the children’s timetable to include study, activities, and sensible rest periods
Assist children with their homework and any special school projects.
Prepare the children for school assessments/exams
Taking and collecting the children to/from school
Liaise with the children’s teachers at school
oversee children’s activities.
Teach manners and social etiquette
Arrange for a safe and secure environment for them.
Monitor children to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
Ensure that all assigned children follow set rules and regulations for play and study.
Assure that the environment is conducive to learning and comfort.
Organize and take the children to educational outings, museums, art galleries, the theatre and sporting activities.
Provide solid feedback to parents regarding their children’s abilities and limitation.

Australian, New Zealand, or Baltic states’ background is preferred

ABA Therapist / Nanny  

in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia  

The VVIP Parents in this Royal household in Saudi Arabia require the appointment of a qualified ABA (Applied Behavioral Analyst) Therapist to work with the Nanny  within a Royal home or VVIP Luxury environment to care for their young children (4 children _ 4 therapists).

The nanny will work within a team of ABA specialized therapists and be reporting to the Royal parents directly.

 

Experienced, knowledgeable, well-spoken ABA specialist to join our clinic. The responsibilities of the ABA specialist include observing patient behavior, responding to behavioral problems with appropriate interventions, staying abreast of developments in ABA therapy, and keeping detailed records.

Successful candidates will have a Master's degree in advanced behavioral analysis or Psychology, at least 5 years of experience, and a proven ability to work under high-stress situations.

  • Master's degree in ABA or psychology.

  • Certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

  • At least 5 years of experience as an ABA therapist.

  • Experience working with patients suffering from Autism and development issues.

  • Experience working with children.

  • Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.

  • A VIP family based in Muscat, Oman, seeks a full-time governess to work with two boys aged 7 and 8 years.

 

The role:

 

  • The role of the governess will be to help and encourage the children to reach their full academic potential.

  • The boys attend the local international school but, due to COVID, are currently homeschooling. When at home, the governess needs to oversee the online education provided by the school.

  • The ideal candidate will be hands-on with the ability to liaise with school teachers to keep up to date with the curriculum.

  • When the boys return to school, the governess should be able to create benchmarks and targets to motivate the boys in their learning.

  • In addition, she should be able to tutor them in the subjects in which they may need extra help.

  • Their school follows an international curriculum; the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP).  Outside of school, the governess should be a firm but fair role model with the ability to engage and encourage the boys in their daily lives.

  • The boys enjoy tennis, swimming and football. They are very active and have a lot of energy.

  • The ideal candidate will be a behavioral role model and in charge of organizing extracurricular activities such as sports, music and arts & crafts.

  • The house is fully staffed and food is provided but the family would like the governess to educate the children about healthy eating and lifestyle.

  • Excellent behavior & etiquette should also be encouraged to help the boys prepare for adulthood.

  • The family would like their governess to be a well-experienced candidate who is firm and confident.

  • Driving is not required as a driver will be provided for work-related travel.

  • Working schedule 6 days/ week for 8-9 hours per day. Accommodation will be provided in staff accommodation in the villa complex. In order to secure the safety of elders and children in the family, villa staff are restricted to venture out of villa premise, unless it is authorized by the employer.  Offer will include medical insurance, 30 days leave per Annam, return ticket to home country.
