The Luxury Household Staff Industry is a highly specialized field which demands candidates with an aptitude for working in private, luxury, confidential & secure environments. 

 

The working environments are ultimately the Principal & Principal Families home and thus only an experienced and well qualified individual will be able to deliver bespoke soft services that compliment the lifestyle & ambience of such a luxury private residence.

Our clients entrust our agents as each agent represents their very own previous career path within the Luxury Household Staff Industry as either a previously appointed Estate Manager, House Manager, Butler, Private Chef or Governess. 

 

Our approach of "it takes one, to know one" allows us to offer the most bespoke headhunting, vetting and recruitment consultation to the most discerning clients. 

This same approach allows candidates to partake in interviewing, vetting and placement where the agent is an expert in the field and no aptitudes, special talents or skills are lost in the process.  Our agents understand what will be expected of our candidates in the respective roles & vacancies and as such approach the headhunting from this perspective.

Client Requests

We are proud to offer our bespoke clients an opportunity to engage with agents who apply their own experience & qualifications as Private Chef's, Household Managers, Butler's, Traveling Nannies during our consultations.

Having their own respective careers within Luxury Private Residences & Private Bespoke Lifestyles of  Ultra High Net Worth employers, our agents speak with experience and from a qualified background.

  • Our agency principal's will personally discuss the requirements & specifications of the vacancy, including confidential and marketable information with the client or client's representative.

  • The client will be requested to peruse, agree to and sign our terms of service agreement.

  • Suitable candidates will be selected from our database of existing registered candidates and they will be invited to partake in our extensive interviewing process for your vacancy specifically.

  • Our marketing department will advertise your vacancy through our impressive online, social media and candidate portals to attract new interest & applications to your vacancy.

  • Selected candidates are approved for presentation through our extensive interviewing, vetting, previous employment, security, credit and reference checking process.

  • Successful candidates from this interviewing process are presented to the client in the form of a comprehensive Rubert Recruitment Profile.

  • Clients may discuss profiles they are interested in with the agent, or request the agent to facilitate & arrange a direct interview with one or more of the candidates.  (agents may also be requested to sit in on clients request)

  • Client's may opt for interviews on Virtual Video Platforms or in Person.  (Covid 19 regulations apply)

  • Once a suitable candidate has been selected by the Client, a formal Letter in the form of an Offer Of Employment is completed and signed for presentation to the candidate.

  • Should the offer be accepted by the candidate, a signed copy of the letter will be returned to the client together with all supporting documentation; including the candidates full vetting report.

  • At this point Rubert Recruitment will invoice the client for a placement fee equal to 15% of the gross annual remuneration (cost to company) offered and accepted in the offer of employment letter.  (a minimum placement fee applies as per our terms of service provided in our mandate)

  • The client will enter into a permanent employment contract with the candidate selected directly, including a trial clause stipulating the first 90 days as an initial trial.

  • Rubert Recruitment offer the client a 90 day guarantee; which includes a free secondary search should the initial candidate selected not be successful, subject to our terms of service agreement.

Candidate Application

  • Should you pass the vetting check, you may be invited to partake in a secondary interview where your aptitude & skill level will be determined by an expert agent in the same field.

  • Once confident in your suitability for the vacancy, your profile and personal information will be made available for perusal by the Client & Principal.

  • The client may request a personal or agent-observed interview with you.

  • Should you be entirely successful, you will receive a Offer Of Employment Letter outlining an offer of remuneration and appointment details for perusal and acceptance.

  • The permanent employment contract will be directly between yourself and the Client & Principal.

Our agency will select candidates from our existing data base of registered candidates and invite you personally should you meet the specifications & requirements of our client.

  • Your initial interview with an agency representative will entail and overall look at your earlier and current employment as per the submitted resume.

  • You will be requested to motivate your interest in the advertised or applied for vacancy.

  • Following the initial interview, you will receive a list of required supporting documentation including reference letters, certificates of previous employment, identity documents, driver's license copy, certificates and proof of address.

  • Full vetting will follow, including document verification checks, criminal checks, credit checks, proof of ID and address checks and reference confirmations from previous employers.

Consultation Process

  • Our agency principal's will consult with the Principal or Principal representative directly in order to ascertain the most accurate version of expectation & lifestyle.

  • You may request an on-site meeting in order to display and show the environment in which you require staffing and in this way ensure we understand what is required in terms of soft services.

  • Once the full picture has been created & shared, our agency principals will consult among each other in order to establish the most efficient & effective staffing solution for your property and it's requirements.

  • We will schedule a meeting with the Client Principal, during which we will present our suggested staffing solution for your bespoke and individual needs. 



Our consultation may include suggestions such as employing a butler with cooking certificates & skills instead of two separate individuals.  Similarly, a houseman that has experience as a chauffeur may be taken into consideration instead of suggesting both a houseman and a chauffeur based on the requirements.
 
In the same vain, we will take special care in suggesting candidates that suit the family specifications such as the presence of young children in the home, an elderly family member residing on the property,  pets or details such as a prized cigar collection or irreplaceable art.

Based on our suggested staffing solution during such a consultation, our recruitment & headhunting services become fully available to successfully fill the vacancies created.
